Haha thanks guys. It was uneventful mostly, though I did get 4th in a small game tournament that day. That said, 4th out of 9 isn't something to be that proud of, haha.

My only problem with holding down two jobs was being true to both of them. My primary job boss said that it couldn't interfere with my work there and that I had to have a certain amount of rest time before coming to work there. With my second job as security, one time my relief didn't show up and I was supposed to wait until my second job boss got another relief. I actually had to leave before he got there if I wanted to comply with primary boss's instructions.
Also, some parts of my CHP job required me being out of town on some weekends without any prior notice until Friday when sent home to pack a bag. In cases like that, I obviously had to tell my second boss that I couldn't keep any of that weekends assignments. He was never happy about it, but having once been in law-enforcment himself, he at least understood.
While quitting four times over the years, I worked off and on with his company since 1983. And even tho I'm retired, I could go to him right now and be rehired.

The jobs I have won't interfere since one is very casual and I was allowed to do it despite taking a school course and saying I needed to work part-time at least over the summer. The two jobs I'm waiting on will involve me having to quit the job I just got if I get one of them, and one is for the school year. I was just interviewed for both at the same time.
Speaking of which.. they've yet to get back to us. They're super busy right now so I understand but I was really hoping they meant it when they said they'd release the information today..

You upload AMVs to YT? What is your account name? I must take a look.
I d/l loads of AMVs and follow several AMV editors or re-uploader groups.

The same as it is on here. My list of AMV's is short, though. I have one for Higurashi, one for Umineko, and one that's a school days/mirai nikki/higurashi one. I also do fan trailers and top 5/10's.

HL: New cat!!!! He's suuuuuuper pretty. He's black, fluffy, and has a weirdly masculine face for a cat? I named him Howl!
LL: My other cat isn't too pleased about him being here.

LL: I didn't get either jobs. Kind of really sad.. My friends in the program are surprised to. Wonder who got them..
EDIT: No one I know got the jobs... Which is weird.. I'm worried who they chose then.
EDIT2: Feeling a little better. I'll apply for one of the positions next year and hope I get it, although I might not be considered since I'm graduating. I'm just feeling kind of low because I wanted more paid experience.. It's just hard since I've volunteered for over two years now and I'd probably get over it easier if I wasn't restricted by location.
I mean, who knows.. Someone who got the summer position might not be able to commit. Things happen. I still have one of my jobs in the program.

Aww, FFF. It'll work out somehow.
HL: My Amazon package came yesterday. Fun!
LL: I'm so freaking lonely. I'm all alone at my house because my parents work and my stepsiblings are at some cabin and I'm sooooooooo lonely. Guess I'll pop in a ghibli.

I hope so.
It would probably hurt less if I hadn't donated so much of my time to the program over the past couple years. I really enjoy being involved. My school focuses a lot on leadership and academics (haha two of my weak areas).
HL: That being said, my past language partner sent me a gift from Japan and cheered me up. Was totally not expecting that. Made me feel very appreciated but also shows I must have made some sort of impact on these girls I've worked with lives. I don't have the money to send her anything at the moment but hopefully I can gather up all their addresses next winter and send them something. ^^ I want to thank them for being perhaps the most enjoyable part of my university experience.
The Jiji face cloth she sent me is so cute. I haven't used any of the special face towels my friends have gifted me yet.

HL/LL: I got my JET results and it's... inconclusive. I've been put on the reserve candidate list for the CIR position, which is great because I still have a chance at the position I really wanted, but frustrating because I don't know when or even if I'll find out I've got it.

That's anticlimactic. Haha Will they still give you a position in the program even if it's not a CIR position? Not sure what this means. GOOD LUCK!! I'm sure they won't just leave you hanging!
My friend wasn't accepted to teach. Which kind of sucks but he had plans of doing more schooling anyway if he didn't get the position.

From what I gather, being on the CIR waiting list means it's CIR or nothing. I actually sent them an email with some questions yesterday and forgot to ask them about that.

Aww I'm sorry it's not good news right away, but best of luck! Hope you get there eventually.
HL: Had a pretty nice night out with my brother. We've been so busy that we haven't had much of a chance to hang out together, and we're super close so it was sad.
Also, Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates~
