Looking closely at the image I assumed he used a paintbrush. And possibly an airbrush. I'm not an art critic though

There is a feature that seems common to a lot of Japanese women, I do not know if its a trick due to the shape of their faces or their eyes or something that has developed genetically but so many of them seem to be very slightly cross-eyed. I notice it all the time and I think it adds a lot to their attractiveness and cuteness. This artist has caught that look perfectly - her right eye is slightly looking inwards compared to the left.
She also has, I don't know, something on her mind in this image, something is going on - she's interacting with the viewer and it took me a while to work out that the red and white striped thing is a folded fan which she seems to be holding out for you to take.
I think after her eyes, that is what draws me to this picture, the fact that there's a story going on here that makes you want to pause and look so that the story continues.
I found the picture on some random blog site, it was just illustrating an article and sadly I've no idea who the artist is.

A variation on the typical cat-ear thing . . . electronic bunny ears with built-in speakers (?).
Also I am a little disturbed by the small white fluffy creature that appears to be trying to molest her, apparently without her noticing. Look down, miss! Save yourself!

I like to think of the, ahem, "molesting creature" as an accessory. You know how some girls like to tie a knot on their shirt at the side? This one adds a little personality into that style.

When I went to the local Matsuri the other day there was this amazingly cute girl, around my age, playing taiko drums. Apart from hello and so, when we were introduced, we didn't really talk though.
Makes me sad when I think on it.
She was so beautiful... I should have started a conversation.

Mm, yes, very pretty. A warning for those of you going to look this artist up, most of his stuff is pornographic and a bit repetitive though he has done some appealing cute ones of which Oldwrench's examples are among the best.
