Haku would win cuz lets face it, a river spirit who knows magic and can turn into a dragon is hell lot stronger than a boy with strong battle sixth sense as his only specialty.

ashitaka's extraordinary strength stemmed from the curse the demon placed on him, which could be seen when those tentacle thingies sprung from his hand whenever he got angry (anger/hatred probably fueled the curse) that's what took off that samurai's head with a single arrow. that's what gave him the strength to bend the katana. that's what enabled him to open Irontown's gate with one hand, although it ordinarily would have taken ten men to.
and if you'd noticed, at the end, the curse mark *disappeared* after the forest spirit's head was returned and they got sloshed with all the gunk from the nightwalker, meaning all the perks that ashitaka enjoyed vanished with it.

The real question here i would say is, is ashitaka still cursed (or atleast for this poll)?

I'm voting for Ashitaka, because I like him better. lol, not really. I don't really know... Haku's got all the supernatural powers with him, but as someone said, Ashitaka can slice off someone's neck with an arrow... I really don't know.

Hmmm... its really hard to decide. I am going to go with Ashitaka, becuase of his incredible sword and archery techniques. This would be asuming that the without the curse his power would remain the same, of course

Actually you see he is not all that great and only has all the pwer when the curse activates itself. In one scene when he is fighting his arow just bounces of his foe's armor and does noting at all. He just dodges teh enemy's attacks and does nto actually fight back till he gives ito the fear and hate and lets the markings grow does he actualy stand much of a chance fighting back. In that scene you see that he realy is not much without the curse when it comes to fighting

Without Yakul? Haku.
Now, if they fought while Ashitaka had his demon-curse, there's no question- Ashitaka would wipe the floor with Haku, Yakul or not.
