So after burning the candle at both ends for about two weeks, I've managed to make myself super sick. And so I find myself browsing the net, watching trash tv, and wearing an over-sized bright green Wizard of Oz t-shirt.

I also want ginger ale. Lots of it. But I don't have any, and so I was wondering...

What are you feel better methods? Mine: the ale and trash tv.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear you're so sick. Hopefully you feel better soon!

I hate being sick. To anyone else I'd say go to the doctor but that's not exactly my thing so lots of good food (lots of fruity stuff ^_^). And chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.

But it depends on what sort of sick I am. If I'm so sick that I can't taste stuff, then usually just sleep and juice. And then the doctor.

I think after my second surgery there was no longer any chance that the slightest hint of illness wasn't going to make me run to the doctor's office.

Hm, I just kinda laze around the house. If I'm feeling really crappy, I'll stay in bed the whole time, making sure I have a drink with me. Milk is good. If I'm not so bad I'll sit at the computer with a duvet wrapped round me, or go on the PS2 (also with a duvet lol).

But yeah, hot drinks are good for making you feel better I've found. Hot milk, hot chocolate, hot orange, whatever. ^^

I find myself getting antsy the second day. Guess I should pick a movie to watch.....and keep up with the ginger ale! Good thing I have my cats to keep me company. (My boyfriend is avoiding the plague.)

I drink loads of tea and eat oranges and soup. If i don't feel too bad then i just lay on the sofa watching dvds, but if i do feel bad then i lie in bed and fel sorry for myself.. However, i hate people making a fuss of me when i am sick.

I usually just eat my fill of whatever my body seems to be craving and take some aspirin and try to sleep... Over the years, this has seemed to do the best for me...

Not that I am afraid of doctors, but I seldom go to one unless it is for stitches or something more serious...

I normally avoid doctors...mainly cause doctor bills are awful! hehe. I managed to make myself resick! Oops!

(I was dressed as an Elf in the cold helping under-privileged kids take photos with Santa. And that meant, welcome back cold! hehe)

Ah, I see...sometimes I forget that not everyone around the world has the privilege of being able to go the doctor, specialist or hospital as frequently as they want without financial concerns.

You do realize that the "free" treatment comes from your high tax?

Depending on the sickness, I would do nothing other than drink more water (which is still less than you people would drink in a day), take over-the-counter pills because I already know what doctors will prescribe, and if it's really bad, just sleep it out.

I will go to the doctor in two ways: in an ambulance, or in a straightjacket.

I usually stay in bed or watch tv and eat soup. Soup is good. Or i read a good book. Books are good... Or I use the computer or play handheld video games.

I hate hate hate hate haaattteee being sick. And I really dont like being fussed over.... When I got appendecitis (dont think thats spelled right...) like, everybody was fussing over me... it was quite embarrasing... The missing school part was nice for a while, then i had to make up like million pages of homework... Then a few weeks later i fainted. In public with lots of people around... Not fuunnnn!!
I used to think that I was one of those people that didnt faint easily, but I've learned after fainting twice when I get too hot that I faint. I fainted at school once during chorus... whee that was really not fun but the next day i was famous! As 'that girl who fainted in chorus'...
