Slagar was the coolest villian of the entire series, and Farran was the coolest minor character. Foxes are just awesome.
I stopped reading Redwall about six years ago though; the ideology got too black-and-white for my taste, and Outcast of Redwall especially had some disturbing undertones of predestination.

It's a complex, really. Well, I'm just glad I'm hiding behind a screen here. Like I told saddle, I'm not really someone you would enjoy hanging out with. Hell, I suck at small conversations so much, I even fail at IRC/MSN chats.
i used to be like that, but then eventually i found a group of kids that agrred with my humour. (basically, being seedy all the time) (seedy means making sexuall jokes in a sick and sarcastic way, like talking about fuckin zombies. poeple think its sick, but luagh all the same). and conversations r gay. when u start a conversation topic and the other person dont answer, **** them, talk to someone who cares lol. like pplz here

Well, the fact that whatsisname was evil simply because his species disturbed me quite a bit. The idea that you're born either good or evil and can't do anything to change it doesn't sit well with me.

Mmm... yup. Makes for a much better story if you have someone who's not QUITE evil from a species that might be considered so. (Or a sympathetic character who can't quite be trusted.) Better characters that way.
