Fortunately I managed to come and visit my mum for Christmas just before the restrictions tightened up again. It's only really because I'm a student that I think this is still within the rules... Anyway, I haven't seen her in a year and a LOT has happened since, so I don't think we could've really put it off longer. So we'll try to have a nice time together, just doing the usual kind of family stuff at home.

That's great, happy that you were able to visit your mom. There are so many ways to get connected even when isolated.

that's good, at least you always have something to do.

In the same situation, we celebrated Christmas virtually with my family

Let's just all hope that next Christmas will not be spent virtually again.

I was lucky enough to have spent Christmas with my family. Does your family live in another country or state?

yes, they are, that's why I was alone at home last Christmas. But we celebrated virtually and it was also fun.
