i can think of a possible reason that is the heat that is needed to run the peltier engine would have been distributed in the base as well if it was metal.wood is not a good conductor of heat.

It opens the lid. I 'walked' around the gearwheels changing direction as each touched. Since two pairs have crossover bands I ignored them as they cancel out.

i do not know if it is credible[but is fairly sourced] or not. But i am happy thinking what my country bests is what i want to do too.
Top three is indian subcontinent.
Although it is correct that we very much love peace and we offer free hospitality to everyone there is also a fact of money that is involved there,soldiers like to go to other conflict zones to bring peace
1.Really to bring peace[it is said in some nation if bangladeshi soldiers stand for an election he will easily win]
2.For the higher pay that is involved for taking the risks in those nations.

Wow, I remember having to spin the blades of my planes back when I joined a modelling club when I was 14. It was so retro and cool.
The problem isn't really about building the planes but the legality of flying them. I used to harbour thoughts of building my own VTOL, until I read the laws concerning airspace. Meh.

Amazing thing. I wanted to have it the moment i saw.However i did not know that jet engines can be made that small. One thing i noticed, the leg rest, Nausicaa for some amazing reason[athletic maybe] could keep her legs straight for hours[assume]. I dont know how miyazaki did not see this. But a normal person should not,so in this glider the jet engine's length is long enough. I always thought Asbel's position is the correct one.[Ignoring the heat issue from the jet]
Anyone disagrees with me? i am not very knowledgeable about dynamics.

Asbel wouldn't be able to steer from that position. Personally I'm still wondering how the glider can stay level during lift off and not flip over.

Well, Nausicaa is crazy athletic... Also I imagine that flowing air would make it a little easier to keep her legs straight.
I'm quite amazed by its stability too! Because the Mehve doesn't have a tail, I imagined that stability would be a big problem... It's basically a flying wing. It's possible that they have computer control help stabilize it, but I also find that pretty unlikely because it seems like it would run counter to the whole philosophy behind a project like that, and a vehicle that you steer with your body weight? So maybe they were just really careful with the wing design and centre of gravity?
Anyway, it's really cool stuff. I've been casually following their page for a while but I was totally blown away when I saw it take off.

i think the dynamics should be same for the mehve too.however i dont know for sure. will ask one of my Aeronautical Engineering friends from another university.[i highly susect he will know about it for sure,cause we are only at the second year] you see that the rider rides it almost likes nausicaa Aaaand there is the leg rest

True, but a hang glider also doesn't have an engine... Still, it clearly does work, so it's not like I'm saying it shouldn't be possible. I'm just interested in how they managed to pull it off. ^^
When I look at just the shape of it, I don't have an intuitive feeling that it looks stable. But when I see it move on video, it doesn't seem at all like it's on the verge of flipping over and going out of control. So either they're doing some kind of trick to stabilize it, or else my intuition is totally wrong.... which of course is very possible ^^||
