| Studio Ghibli Villain Elimination Game |       |
It has been suggested, and seeing as Ponyo has just been released so more people are posting, it seems like a good time for another Elimination game! Please understand that some of the Villains are not really complete villains, but that is how Miyazaki likes it after all! Also, there are some movies that have literally no villains at all, but then there are some with more than one to make up for it.
1. All Studio Ghibli Villain's start with 20 points:
Count Cagliostro - 20
Kushana - 20
Kurotowa - 20
Dola - 20
Muska - 20
Aunt - 20
Donald Curtis - 20
Aiuto Gang Boss - 20
Lady Eboshi - 20
Jigo - 20
Yubaba - 20
Boh - 20

Witch of the Waste - 20
Madame Suliman - 20
Cob - 20
Hare - 20
Fujimoto - 20
2. You can vote once a day. Here's how it works:
3. Copy and paste the above list into a new reply. Each vote add one point to a villain you wanna keep and subtract two points to a villain you wanna see eliminated. You can use any criteria you want to vote.
Now the next person will copy and paste my list and add one and subtract two to any villain they wish. Once that villain is at 0, it is eliminated from the game. Last one standing with any points wins. I just thought it would be a fun little game to have. Keep in mind, the winning villain wont necessarily be the best, as you can vote on any criteria. You could subtract from a villain you think might threaten your favorite villain's chances, for example. Enjoy

I will try and help out....
Count Cagliostro - The main bad guy in Castle of Cagliostro, wants the two rings, keeps Clarisse locked in a tower, ect.
Kushana - The original strong female villain from Nausicaa, she has one metal arm and wants to raise that giant monster to kill the Ohms.
Kurotowa - Also from Nausicaa, he is Kushana's funny sidekick, lost of funny one liners, a dry sense of humor and a crooked smile.
Dola - From Laputa, the pirate boss who starts off as bad but then helps out Sheeta and Pazu.
Muska - The main villain in Laputa. Glasses, boring looking. Wants to use Laputa for evil.
Aunt - The evil Aunt from Grave of the Fireflies that kicks out Seita and Setsuko. Not a villainous creature, but one heck of a mean person.
Donald Curtis - Porco's rival, the American guy. They have an epic fight at the end.
Aiuto Gang Boss - The leader of the pirate gang in Porco Rosso. He falls in love with Fio at first sight.
Lady Eboshi - I doubt anyone doesn't know her, but she's the leader of Iron town and wants to kill the God of the forest.
Jigo - The funny little guy with the big wart, wants the head of the God of the forest.
Yubaba - Again, as if anyone doesn't know her, but she's the manager of the Spirit Bathhouse, steals Chihiro's name and keeps her parents as pigs.
Boh - Yubaba's baby, soon turns into a mouse and becomes Chihiro's friend.
Cat King - The crazy leader of the Cat Kingdom from the Cat Returns.
Witch of the Waste - The once fat and mean witch who had her heart stolen from Howl, turned into a kind but devious blob of an old lady.
Madame Suliman - Initiate's the horrible war, is very old and kind looking for a villain.
Cob - That creepy man/woman from Tales from Earthsea, the main badguy.
Hare - Cob's mean henchman (yes, I was scraping the barrel for the last couple of spots).
Fujimoto - Ponyo's dad!

I will give a few moe votes in the next few days.
Perhaps I would copy and paste that post at the beginning of the thread so that it doesn't go lost.
Tirniphead1, if Count Cagliostro is evil, shouldn't he get +1? (hope I didn't misunderstand... we keep the real baddies and eliminate the "goodies"

You could just vote on the most evil character i spose, but I'm doing it on the best character in general..i.e. I think that Cagliostro is a bit too one dimensional, as in he's just pure evil, nothing else..
Eboshi, for example, might not be the best villian in the respect that she is seen caring for iron town, but she is a better character IMO as her motives are more interesting.
