I thought we could try and add a fun game to the mix. Basically it works like this....

1. All Studio Ghibli films start with 20 points:

Lupin the III: The Castle of Cagliostro - 20
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind - 20
Laputa: Castle in the Sky - 20
Grave of the Fireflies - 20
My Neighbor Totoro - 20
Kiki's Delivery Service - 20
Only Yesterday - 20
Porco Rosso - 20
Ocean Waves - 20
Pom Poko - 20
Whisper of the Heart - 20
Princess Mononoke - 20
My Neighbors the Yamadas - 20
Spirited Away - 20
The Cat Returns - 20
Howl's Moving Castle - 20
Tales from Earthsea - 20
Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea - 20

2. You can vote once a day. Here's how it works:

3. Copy and paste the above list into a new reply. Each vote add one point to a film you wanna keep and subtract two points to a film you wanna see eliminated. You can use any criteria you want to vote. Example, ill try it first.

Now the next person will copy and paste my list and add one and subtract two to any film they wish. Once that film is at 0, it is eliminated from the game. Last one standing with any points wins. I just thought it would be a fun little game to have. Keep in mind, the winning film wont necessarily be the best, as you can vote on any criteria. You could subtract from a movie you think might threaten your movie's chances, for example. Enjoy

Nice game. I think we had a certain elimination game involving ghibli before, but I forgot what it was about. If I may, I think you ought to add a limit of sorts too, to prevent somebody from racking up ten continuous posts to get rid of any one movie.

But why -2 for a negative vote?

I've done a similar thing to this before, except it was +2 and -4 (or -2 twice). And how often are we allowed to vote?
