I am looking to buy as much of the Studio Ghibli Collection as I can for my fiance's birthday. Any suggestions on where I could get a nice box set with as many movies in English as possible? Or should I just try to buy them all individually? Everything on the internet seems to be cheap vcds that would end up with horrible quality. Thanks for your input!

I have never seen any boxes for the english studio Ghibli collection. My best advice is to go to a dvd-shop that specialises in foreign movies/anime movies and ask there. If there are any boxes they're bound to be there

I would by them separately. Most of the box sets online are bootleg copies. The quality could still be alright, but I wouldn't risk it.
I'm pretty sure Disney released a set of four DVDs last year with the release of Ponyo. That would be a good place to start.
If you're filthy rich, you could always import the Japanese Blu-Rays.

What I did was ordered them offline, cause they were far more expensive in the shop, but as far as i know there is no box set at all so your best bet is to buy them seperately. You could always order them online at HMV thats what I did there all aroun 6 - 8 pounds each!!! And every copy is on HMV so you know you can buy them all from there and it usually takes about three days to arrive by post if you don't pay for express delivery but that all depends on where you live.
