It took me awhile to get used to the name differences and appearances. Nevertheless, it was great.

@husky51
Seems a lot of Okies (not really the appropriate term, but it's what I grew up with) have some in them. Strange as it is, my mother doesn't even though her side of the family has lived in Oklahoma (Tulsa area) for years.
As of today, we visited the Roswell U.F.O Museum. Pretty interesting stuff there, good cheesy fun hehe. Then visited the Godard Museum.
Decided to edit a picture I took, couldn't resist.
I swear I found Sophie's boots in the 1990's section.

Awesome! I do have a small bit of Cherokee blood on my father's side, but not too much. Yeah the reservations out there are a bit..dry.

@husky51
Aww man..but glad to know most of you guys don't.
Speaking of Southern California, I grew up in Tehachapi (well, I suppose that's more Central California..more so on the border of it) for several years, but we had to move to Texas due to my father's work. Aah, you lived in Japan for a while? How cool! I bet it lovely and quite an experience..well until you get used to it heh. I think I've seen her around here, she happens to be a Howl fan as well?
And thank you for the welcome. ^^
@jusomekid
Thank you very much!
@saviour2012

I visited Acoma Pueblo Reservation today in Sky City, New Mexico. It was very fascinating. The people there were keeping true to their culture and living just like their ancestors before them, language, religion, and celebration wise. They still lived in adobe homes high up on a mesa, yet they still had a few modern conveniences. Not to mention the beautiful scenery!

Hello! I'm Helen, or you can call me Zuu, either one is fine. I'm a bit of a WWII nut, mainly fascinated by the Red Army though. I just have a bit of an obsession with Russia over-all. As for Ghibli, I'm guilty for a Haku and Howl obsession. I tend to cosplay from time to time as well. I'm a bit shy at first, but I'll gradually warm up to you.
Hopefully I'll warm up to everyone and have a great time here.
