I found Howl in Indonesia, but sadly it's a pirated one and having a very low picture quality (handycam on teather)....
So I haven't watched Howl... but I deeply want to... I have a feeling that this movie somehow like Laputa which taken from Gulliver.

FvZ is not bad about the chinese courses... I have a plan to take it... there's many here already.. but I'm afraid it will make me confuse since Nihongo uses same or similar Kanji with similar pronunciation and similar meaning which can make me deeply confused... well I think I'll learn from my dad or my friend first.... b4 getting into an academic language learning... FYI I already able to read some Kanji in Mandarin (so I can fairly sing and understand a song when I watched a video-clip)... but I just able to read and don't able to understand 100% what it's mean..... so I can't feel the emotion in the song....

My father is from 広州 (Guangzhou) and he still good at recognizing n understanding Kanji... well all his brothers and sisters are still good too.... but it's not inheritance into me (T~T) and all my friends...
it's not a mainstream here since there was a chinese banning for 32 years (1960s-1990s).. so not many chinese children in my generation learned chinese.... but now it's a popular third language in Indonesia

btw Harry Potter is also a great hit in my country... the book already gained many fans... however, eventho we use the same set of alphabet with England and many of our vocabs are from English.... there's only a few people prefer to read the original English one... and all of those people are mostly big fans!

FYI I haven't read even one of Ms. Rowling books! But my sister is a big fan of her and Harry Potter seems to be one of her big favourite... She often tell me the stories... and eventho it's very interesting and very creative to me.... technically I easily get bore to read a 500 pages exceed novel that only consist of 26 alphabets, 10 numbers, and some signs....

And since I haven't read the book... I dont have any opinion about the movie.... yet technically (by its digital effects), the movie is splendid... I like Hermione as visualized in the movie ..... but like Jiji said, the story representated in the movie was too short and too narrow than the original book... it's a pity...

Umm... no Haru?



I'm actually somewhere between Shizuku and Sheeta, I've tried the quiz for about 10 times and Shizuku fairly more appears as my result than Sheeta.... I do receive Nausicaa and Satsuki for my result.. but only for about 2 times each...
Why I do this for many times?.... well... since I can imagine myself for over one option for each question, eventho there are also many options which I surely didnt do.....

I think every language that close to each other may sound funny.. we speak Indonesian which is basically Malay (spoken in Singapore and Malaysia)... so we can fairly understand each other without many problems... but somehow Malay is sound too rough for us... such as they say "Betina" (female) addressing to women, yet Indonesian address it only for female animals... but I heard that Malaysian (and Singapore) people comments that Indonesian language is far sounded like a barbarian language....!!

Vegetarian just dont eat meat... it doesnt mean they dont dare to kill chickens I wonder if you go to Japanese or Chinese restaurant that heavily add meat to their ingredients.... they often share 50-50 of vegetables and meats.... I like vegetables.. but not the greenies...

btw I was 2 years ago drawed angel wings... and please dont compare my work w/ Miyazaki's as my works are far much uglier...

The heart-wings is one of my campus work and it demands a title for it... so I just title it w/ a dull title "Pure Love" in Indonesian... It actually multi-coloured and untitled... sorry that I made some editing... the original is look so bad to me...
The angel-girl is an angel I named her Eirin "エイリン" and I was planned to make a doujin manga titled "QT天使" or "QT Angel"... but I cancelled it since it would boring me.... ^^;

Apparently, when Japanese try to spell English word... it would sound a little funny to certain country with certain language. And in this case, it's HK (Jiji's Koriko )!! But there are two kind Japanese spelling of "McDonald" that famous in Japan. In Tokyo they call it "Makku" shortened from "Makkudonarudo", but in Osaka (Japan 2nd largest city), it's called "Meikkudo" from world-famous initial "McD". And I just curious which spelling that sounds funny in HK

In Indonesia... well... I've seen some off-road jeeps or pre-World War cars that still here are still left handle.. and they legal to run on streets...
however, every import car (including Mercedes-Benz) are becoming right handle here....
but traffic outside the city in Indonesia is wild!! Like roller-coaster when you inside the car! So if you drive car with left handle in that kind of street... you'll die in accident for sure!! this is probably why left-handle car only permitted to run inside a city only....

I think the steer position already set for the driver to easily check out the situation to takeover another car...
this is also incl. the wiper position... for British style the wiper blade will sweep water to right side.. while the American style is the opposite... But strangely... Peugeot 206 in my country has its original wiper blade (sweep to left) while it's already right-handle
we do have a standard... but they are flexible (depend on how do you manage the police )...

Oh I would like to revise that people in Indonesia is brand-oriented. So having a "Mercy" (the way we call Mercedes-Benz) or BMW is already a status eventho the car are right handle.. left handle is for those who love automobile.. but for billionaires' heir only since it's a very high priced hobby.. (car here are 3 times original price w/ 200% tax)

and I don't think McLaren F1 nor Messerschmitt permitted to run here...

I wonder if the people from the country which use left handle also feel the same when they look at car with right handle... do they also collect it to show-off

The matter is to defeat yourself 8] Try to mimic any languages! it's fun... but I think it'll be very hard for you to mimic a strong "R" just like Spanish or Italian.... luckily Indonesian also used strong "R" (and "L" if compared to neighbouring country Malaysia and Singapore.. so I think Indonesian should be easier to mimic a weak "R" just like English or Francoise... but many of them don't....

This is a more serious problem for me . I can hardly understand the American English, and I suppose no Westerner can understand my own English that has a heavy local accent. Well, it defeats the purpose of learning a foreign language when I can't even communicate with the others properly by using it. (Jiji)

Many people here (Indonesia) are also speak English with local accent which make English doesn't cool at all!!
However, if I speak English w/ a fairly English accent.... my friends wont understand 'em.... so who is fault??
FYI I can mimic accent very quick than understanding a language... I can fairly mimic Francoise and German accent but don't understand the language.... It's helpful to understand the original language...
However it's also fun to learn "English in Japanese accent"... not every original english is amusing...
