O hai thar everyone! I'm ba-aaaack! Just sayin'... 
HL: Went walking around the neighborhood today- the weather is beautiful!
Spent the rest of the day working on an essay and watching Doctor Who. (I discovered Doctor Who last week and have been watching episodes of series 5 whenever I get the chance. IT IS GLORIOUS. And rather addicting.) 
Mid-light: Graduation approaches quickly and I'm growing rather excited and a bit anxious at the same time.
LL: Didn't get much headway on that essay, but it was my own fault. xD

I HAVE RETURNED TO THE TAVERN. YAY. 
HL: Driving. Yay.
Bought the book 'Mockingjay', which I can't wait to read.
Finding out that I might get to take singing lessons again. YAYNESS.
And discovering that I can hit that last high note while singing 'The Phantom of the Opera'.
LL: School. Discovering that I have the same teacher I had last year. He's crazy and will not let me be quiet in class. I am a quiet person. ...He picks on me. (I hope this doesn't last all year.)

LL: I just learned that my uncle died...  We were close; it's probably awful to pick favorites, but he was my favorite uncle. Just so warm and happy and very funny... He gave me my first driving lesson...
It's funny, kind of ironic even, because we were going to have a family reunion in a couple of weeks... Now that plan's blown to bits.
HL: Some random girl came up to me at school and spazzed about 'how cuute me and my boyfriend look together!!' ...I don't even have a boyfriend, but she ran off before I could tell her that. It was totally weird.

Turns out that my cousin who I thought might be anorexic really is. (I think I mentioned her on the HL/LL thread few months ago...)
Apparently it's really serious and she's getting therapy and going to the doctor and all that stuff for it, but she's still in denial and not eating and I'm really really worried about her.
I know that telling the girl to eat is the last thing one should do in this sort of situation-I know what it's like when you're told to do something; the instinctive reaction is to recoil and become stubborn- but I want to do something to help her. I know it's probably not my business... It's hers and her family's concern. But her family moves around every month for her father's job and her life is very uprooted for the most part, so any sort of therapy that she goes to won't last very long. (All the moving around is what I believe began her anorexia- attempting to control some facet of her life).
She scared me the last time she came for a visit- she was so thin, and I've heard she's even worse now. (Her brother, the Informer, says she's cold all the time- she's lost that much weight.) She, of course, insists there's nothing wrong with her and that she's fine and getting enough nutrients and calories.
She'll be coming to visit in a couple of months... And I'm not sure how to act when I see her. Of course, I know I'll treat her like normal, but... it scares me.

HL: *snickers* Our group got more people and I am officially the White Queen... That makes me happy. xD I get to act kind of high and sweet and all that. 'Twill be fun! Now to make a costume...
Spring break next week, woo!
LL: Tons of homework to do, drawings to draw, assignments to work on...
Middle-light: Leaving on a trip tomorrow. Taking off school for the week to go work at a trade show. I have to stand behind a booth and smile and hand out brochures and such. :rollseyes: Grar, talking to peoples... But it's a paying job, and I could reeeally use the money, so I can't afford to be picky! xD

Hmmm... I've been here for over a year, I think... I was 15 when I joined. I found this site, lurked for a little while, then decided, 'eh, why not join?! Looks cool!' And I'm glad I did because I've met so many nice people here! ^^
I'm not certain if I've changed much, but I think... I might have gotten a little bit more mature. Maybe... Probably not, lol. I'm still me, after all! I think I might be a little more confident now than I was when I first joined here. And my art has most definitely improved, which might have something to do with it? When I joined here all I could do was trace things, which makes me ashamed now. But now I'm drawing my own original art and it looks fairly decent! xD Lots of things in my life have changed during this time, for sure...
I've not been the most regular visitor to the tavern, but I still try to drop by every now and again!

HL: The group went with my idea to dress up in AIW costumes and terrorize the school all day, yay! I'm going to be Alice... I suppose it's an honor because she's the heroine, but strangely, I'm slightly disappointed because I wanted to be the Red Queen... She's easy to act like. Alice, on the other hand... I've no idea how to act like her. Well... I get to wear a gorgeous dress, anyways! ^^

HL: In art class, we get to do an installation or preformance art for the upcoming art show... and my group is considering doing Alice in Wonderland as our topic. We're thinking of dressing up in costumes and doing a scene, which should be really fun, if we decide to do it!
Heeheh, and I told my mom I was considering being the Red Queen (it's fun to run around screaming 'off with your head!') or Alice... or the Hatter or the Cheshire Cat, and she looked at me strangely and said, "No, no, no, no. You're too sweet to be the Red Queen. You're the White Queen. You look more like her, and you've got the hand movements down. I'll make your dress. This'll be fun!"
...She was already planning and we haven't even decided as a group what we're doing yet. xD (I seriously think my mother needs her eyes checked... I look nothing like Anne Hathaway!)
