This is an old one but Project A-ko and Lupin (Cagliostro) still makes me laugh.

I usually rent mine first, if avail, via Netflix.com. Then, if I really like it, then I go to Wal-mart.com (believe it or not they do have some anime), or Sam Goody's, etc. Video rental stores can also order them for you if you are desperate enough to pay the price. There are some used video places that you can also try. If no luck, then I usually search online. You can also ask this forum for some other ideas.

Just for the record, my six year old daughter decided to take up violin after she saw Whisper of the Heart.
For now her violin playing sounds like a cat in agony

It was just weird coz my son is up around 5:45 a.m. EST to catch some toons before he goes to school then I heard this somewhat familiar tune. I think it's still Adult Swim until 6:00 a.m. Try to log on the Cartoon Network website and see a schedule.

Team Rocket's voice was really annoying, especially when they have to go thru the Team Rocket speech.

(throws boxes of girl scout cookies to everyone)
I just bought another 6 boxes coz I feel bad for the little girl selling them in front of Wal-mart on a cold, rainy Saturday.

I'm a huge Robotech fan (in my days, which is A LONG TIME AGO) and I just saw the Shadow Chronicles at Wal-Mart. Although the temptation of buying it is huge, I'm wondering if anyone's seen it?

I don't think they sell them door to door like they used to years ago due to liabilities, kids getting harrassed/kidnapped. I was never a girl scout (too girly for my taste) but I will buy the cookies.

25? Wait until you hit 30! Then people look at you funny when you're shopping for tshirts at Hot Topix or looking at animes at the video store with your kids.

The magic makes my children's fears go away - if that makes sense. We live in the Midwest and sometimes high winds and storms come through. I tell my little girl that its just the cat bus going by so she's not so scared. That's the magic it creates for them.

Least to say that I did watch Pokemon w/my kids - and to this day I still find Pokemon cards and Yugiyoh cards all over the place.
They still show them here in Cartoon Network.
