I'm so glad you're feeling better! And congrats about the grandkids!
I was really happy they showed ghibli stuff in theatres, I went with my mom since they played Kiki around my birthday. I still haven't seen the wind rises, though I bought the dvd once it came out :/
I'm in college now, and it's finals week. yikes. I got into my school's nursing program, which only accepts 50 people, so yeah. I'm pretty happy. I'm in upstate NY so I've been loving the fresh air and nature (I've climbed 4 mountains this semester!). It's pretty chilly though.

I was just listening to Ghibli stuff while writing a paper, and thought of you guys- it's been a while! Like ~4 years I think? How have y'all been?

HL: ALLEGIANT by Veronica Roth came out yesterday, and I just finished reading it (bought it after school today)! Gahhh I don't know whether the ending is terrible or absolutely perfect. I love it so muchhh!

Yeah, I was thinking that because his fanbase is so neurotic and obsessed. There's so much stuff with his stupid face on it everywhere and it really bothers me.

... if it profits, then of course companies will do whatever they can to maximize income. Moguls will stop at nothing to create larger fanbases and sell products for those fanbases. If life sized dolls rack in money, is there a reason not to? I personally don't support those creepy life sized manikins but whatever. It's a means of business. Just like I don't condone fangirls my age buying life sized cardboard cutouts of Justine Bieber, but the stores that sell them make a decent profit, as they're ~40 dollars each.
You probably didn't have to mention sex dolls... we know what you mean if you exclude that part... it just makes things awkward...

Oooh man! Can't be worse than my 9th grade Bio teacher..
The first few weeks, he tried to lecture(reading from the book), and then he just had us copy the textbook and gave us A's for it. Sad part was... it was an honors class >.<
I'm pretty sure he got fired by now.
There are literally no good honors Bio teachers in my school. They all use the same worksheets, and we don't even go over notes and things! I HATE my teacher. I've been getting such crappy grades because bio chem is a pretty hard subject to learn by yourself. Ugh, the class test average is an 80.

I got a 96 on my first AP presentation (one of the highest grades so far), and my teacher is a harsh grader! Not to mention that we were picked to go first, even when one of our group members was missing! I had to improvise the missing guy's part, and all three of us did so well! GAH! I'm so happy! Plus, I got an 84 on my quiz, which was higher in the class range!
So I'm wondering how we would have done if the missing guy came to school? Meh. Post hoc, ergo propter hoc.
LL: My friend wouldn't let me run the mile because I realized my inhaler was expired 1/4 of the way through. She then proceeded to whack my head.
