How did you choose your avatar and what's it of? Mine is a Haibane from the best anime ever called Haibane Renmei. A 13 episode series based around the place children go when they die. It's very interesting!

A world with no religion... our mind set would think "no consequence", I can do what I want and not care where I end up cuz there are no polaric heavens to believe in. No Heaven, no Hell. We may have consequence on earth, in this realm. But we would have no thought of there existing another realm. A realm where our spirits ascend/descend. No leaders could use religion as their cause for dispute or war. We wouldn't have the phrases "oh my God", "honest to God", "swear to God", "no way in Hell" etc etc. There'd be no churches, no monastaries, no Holy ground. Not as much discrimination because there would be one less group to discriminate against. Alot would be different.

Oh really? I could see Takahata and Miyazaki not being influenced by Tezuka because they invented their own style: Ghibli!!

Can anyone list a recent (1990 - 2006) radical movement or religious act? Roarkiller, you keep mentioning all these movements and so do other people but I can't recollect any. Help me out!

I certainly did buy it and the videogame. Both are amazing and worth every cent I paid!!! I love Astro Boy, but this PLUTO character seems interesting too. Any famous new mangaka can certainly be added to my list! Tell me more!

Yeah, there aren't many religious leaders or role models left in this world are there? No more activists or rights movements. Well if you count gay rights but I sure don't. What do you think about gay rights, how they oppose the Church and whatnot. I think it's fine, but then again it does go against God and what He stands for. I don't think it matters in Buddhism, your sexual preference that is. (touchy subject I know but hey have any better thoughts post 'em!)

You're right, Microsoft only made a suped up xbox. Better graphics was the only real enhancement and even that will be poor compared to PS3. Wii is said to only be just under the 360 graphic wise. Yup PS3 might replace the household computer, well at least mine anyways.... it comes standard with a fully functional desktop, browser, hard drive, rom drive that'll play ANYTHING including blu ray, the technology of the future. I love PS3 in every way.

You can be passionate enough to 'do it' multiple times a night, it's still love and expression. It's just when it's empty and pointless, all fun and games, no meaning, get what I mean? Love has meaning. Lust is empty and will leave you empty.

Sex is not lust. I look at is this way: You go to a party not knowing too many people there, you meet a chick, get drunk, find an empty bed (good luck!!) and have SEX. Never see her again or maybe even be obligated to marry her after she hunts you down at the first signs of pregnancy. "Making love" as I like to call it is the entirely opposite situation. You love someone, you may have dated this person for quite some time now and you decide you're ready. When the mood strikes (not provoked or influenced by alcohol) and the two lovers engage I refer to it as "making love" rather than simply sex. As an act it literally is sex but it's not empty or just for fun, it's more than that. I would say it is another form of expression.

The youthful generation (mine!) is watching all these TV animes here in the west. Anime like Inuyasha, Witch Hunter Robin, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, .Hack, DragonBall Z, Gundam, Naruto, One Piece and whatever else they got on. Not many solid original Japanese series or films are popular here. I know we have one specialty shop exclusive to anime, manga, and tabletop gaming. Other department stores sell anime. I bought Grave of the Fireflies at a store called London Drugs. lol If anyone knows what store I'm talking about they'll know I had a RARE find. Anyways. Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle were the only ones that hit theatres in North America.. well big theatres anyways, I don't know about little film festivals. My generation is very much into anime, we thrive upon, this is the truth here in North America. I mean look at all the popular TV shows, magazines, downloading illegally *cough* is very popular unfortunatly, Cosplay is the new thing to do nowadays. We will grow up strong in the wake of Goro, may Goro lead us into the future!!

How do you know all this? Assumption? I find it very interesting yet I never usually care about famous people and their problems. But Hayao and Goro interest me very much, obviously, lol. So tell me more
