  GITS Live Action Discussion

In my opinion as GITS is a little confusing, if you try to think it from Major's perspective. Why is she what she is

As a matter of fact none of the series later or the original movies tried to be clear on that issue

It seems live action might have something about that

You probably should limit yourself to the original comics for canon material. The films and TV series appeared to conflict with each other and in the TV series the major's military past got some screentime but I don't have a clue as to whether this is canon or not.

Her unexplained background I think adds to the strength and opacity of the character; explaining everything would be a little anticlimactic as well as take away for of the mystery.

It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so loving what - Stephen Fry.
