  LEGO + Laputian Robot = Awesome!

Hi Ghibli friends,

I have revamped my LEGO Laputian Robot (Castle in the Sky) project, and resubmitted it for consideration by LEGO. It needs 10,000 supports before it can be reviewed by LEGO, and if it's approved (and licensing arrangements worked out with Ghibli), it could potentially become a set we can all buy.

I'd love for you to check it out and add your support if you like my design. Just follow the blue "support" button, and it's only a few clicks after that (about how much you would pay for a set like this, etc.).

LEGO Laputian Robot

Thanks so much!

900 parts? For just the robot?

Thst aside, it does look gorgeous.

I'd like to see other Ghibli figures as well...

Totoro, Catbus, a plane or two from "Wind...", etc...

@roarkiller

Yeah, it sounds like a lot, but look at the new Wall-E that's coming out... almost 700 parts, and not nearly as large. I'm sure there are ways to shave off 50-100 parts by using a more efficient build.

Thanks for the kind words from both of you nonetheless.
