hello all....dad aka husky51 wanted me to tell you that he has been admitted in the hospital as the infection in his foot has gotten worse...he also says he is in good hands and receiving treatment.

inshaAllah he will be back online in a few days to bug u all with the details...

ok, I`ve milked the sympathy cow enough, lol. My son brought my laptop to the hospital and I can go online intermittantly.

update:
The swelling has gone down a LOT, YAY! and the prognosis is good. With luck, I may be able to leave here in 2 or 3 days.....

Hahaha, too late, fen... I've been running (so to speak) all over town trying to catch up on stuff. Applied for a renewed passport, talked with our local historian and another cohort, went to POffice (got passport forms), got passport photo taken. Went to lunch at my fav Mexican food place...

Now I'm back and I'm done until tomorrow...

How are you doing, fen? any photos, or stories yet?
