I dont know, as i do not have administrative right here.

But i found a fact on your point that the numbers on the most popular threads have not increased.Which is quite interesting.

But i want to believe they are real human.

BECAUSE if they are bots then we are on the verge of an attack. The spike from 1300 to 1850 went in just about 3 minutes.

Then i thought something big happened in the ghibli world so searched thoroughly and found almost nothing new and then the idea struck my mind.

I just did not wanted to freak people out.

Definitely bots. This is something that happens pretty normally. If you watch the guests number for long enough this will always happen. Notice how the record number is over 4000?

I doubt the Tavern has had more than 100 people viewing it at the same time ever. You can judge this by the posting levels and the general numbers of active people in the community. There's always a statistical number for total community size (lurkers/guests) vs active posters and the active people are probably around 5%-10% of the total. Any numbers over that are not humans.

The Tavern is a very small community, which is the main reason I like it here. It is easily the most long-lived online community I've been involved in, the sense of permanence of the dozen or more regulars is really nice and something we should all be proud of.

I wouldn't WANT it to have 1500+ guests here, it would collapse because the facts say that 10% of them would be posting. It'd be like 4chan or something *shudders*
