i recently found a minecraft world based upon the films of studio ghibli (minecraft is a creation game and you can download other peoples creations) this world download had been removed due to an apparent copyright infringement preventing other people from seeing the world and perhaps becoming more interested in the films. i am not that sure about the basis of a copyright claim that studio ghibli has as they had neither directly taken the films or used script they only used the props and sets eg the bath house and the moving castle. i would like to see if any one else shares my views on this matter.

the original world is under minecraft ghibli world on the minecraft forums.

This claim really confuses me... Why would you take down something claiming it may get people more interested in something? This is a really messed up situation.

Anyway, if you see anymore Ghibli related minecraft maps, please do share! I'd love to see something like that.

It is curious they would get rid of something that was technically free advertising . If you find any more of these maps please inform me. It would be interesting if we made a Minecraft Studio Ghibli role play server.
