Studio Ghibli was begun by Tokuma Shoten in 1985 I believe it was. It means (according to Nausicaa.net ) hot wind blowing through the Sahara desert -- the phrase was used during WWII, when scouting airplanes. And yes, the word ghibli is Italian. XD Hope I don't sound over obsesed. ^_^
