Had an enjoyable time at Bingo at the Casino last night. Didn't win, but met and shared snacks and conversation with two ladies that are regulars.... One won a stuffed dog in a drawing (with some cash) and she said she is naming it after me... lol

And more bingo tonight at the other place I go to...

I have fun even wwhen I don't win (but that helps ). It gets me out of the house in the evening and gives me a break from watching my anime and reading...

HL: My hero, idol and the epitome of a professional athelete, Steven Gerrard signed a lifetime contract with Liverpool. (a football club, in case you didn't know) The man has been an inspiration to millions and this means we will be the only club lucky enough to have had him play for us in his distinguished career. Anyone who's interested, this , is just one of the amazing goals he has gotten in his career so far, a belter right at the end in our last European Cup win. Apologies if nobody cares

Edit: Wrong belter

WeirdLight: My classmates think I'm weird because I don't want to live in a dorm if it has one giant bathroom. o.e I lived at a campground with a similar layout for the summer and I.. don't.. like.. it. And when I'm on my monthly gift, I like my privacy and the ability to cry for a long time. Alone.

Looks like a student apartment might be my only way to go. :x

I wish you the best of luck, FFF, but sometimes when we are reaching for a goal we have to deal with inconveniences... I'm not belittling your situation, just saying... If you can afford an apt then go for it, but if finances are tight then you might have to make a discision...

I usually tried to prepare for the worst thing that could happen... and sometimes it did, other times it was less of a problem and I actually was ahead of the game, at least in my own mind...

Good Luck, either way...

Certainly fair enough! I really find those bathrooms a bit scary, they never seem to have proper privacy.

back when I was a kid going to swim lessons at the downtown YMCA, we boys all swam in the nude. In school in gym class we all showered together. I got over any embarrassment early.

Thanks guys. :'B I'm just scared now that I realize "Oh my god, I'm leaving home this year". Most would be excited, but to me it's kind of scary. To my boyfriend it doesn't make sense, because in his country, you don't leave home for a long while.

HL: It's a nice quiet day.

LL: Lots of schoolwork before exams.. and hoping it doesn't snow on Tuesday so I can go to the movies with my boyfriend and buy a new book bag after ruining my favourite one.

My transition from home to on my own was a lot easier, I guess.

From home i joined the Navy and was living in a barracks for about a year and a half, different ones depending on my assignment up at Great Lakes Naval Training Center just outside of Chicago.

After Gunnersmate training, I ended up on the same ship as my stepdad so I was back home again... lol When we were homeported in Yokosuka I still was with my Mom and sister in a house in Hayama-Kokusai. When I came back to the States, my stepdad and I were on different ships but both were homeported in Long Beach, Calif where I had pretty much spent my childhood. And still living at home when I got out of the Navy. It wasn't until I had been out of the Navy for a year or so that I finally got my own apartment... still in Long Beach, tho..lol

That's where I was living when I met the girl who became my long term friend. She and her hubby still live in Long Beach. She was 13 and I was 25 or so. I became friends with her whole family. Hahaha, she told me once that I was the only guy in her young life that never took advantage of her. I was such an angel...

It'll be a whole lot easier when I do go. It's just I don't deal well with anxiety.

My friends are all doing diverse things. I'm the only one going to a university. o.o One is even going to Thailand. We all came to terms we may never meet again or would in a long time. It sucks, but that's life. It just sucks even more knowing it's going to happen, and mostly because you wouldn't choose your friends over your dreams. Or at least I wouldn't.

Yeah it'll be a whole lot better when it happens. My boyfriend is very supportive of me going, but I know he's going to miss me the most. He's the only one of my friends I'm really guaranteed to see again.

HL: Getting some school work done. Found my memory stick. Watched a new drama.

I know what you mean. I have a whole mix of feelings about this year myself. How good it will be, and how bad it will be.

But i think it is good to focus on the positives! Like i think University will be a really interesting place!

LL: Ahhh, I am really down lately because of the little amount of time I've seen my boyfriend. I saw him friday night/saturday morning, but that was the first time I had done so in over a week and I'm not seeing him again until next tuesday. I know a week and a half isn't a particularly long amount of time but I'm used to seeing him every few days and recently we've become so close that spending even a week apart is pretty painful. I guess I feel like I don't have any thing to really look forward to this week. Just plenty of coursework and homework. It's necessary time apart because he's revising for exams but it still sucks.

Humhumhum.
