Yup, I'll seriously die without the next chaptre of Honey Hint. Usually series I pick up lately that are still being released and haven't had an update in awhile have one a couple days later. Its being edited.. But nuu, I don't want it to be Haruka x Yura! I'll go kill those girls! @_@ Ahem.. Actually, out of him and his twin, he's the cutest but Q-Ta is my fave. And I like how he treats her. Haruka's pretty naive acting. ._. Just if her mother tries to ruin her life again after what happened between her mother and her first love, she'd lucky to have gotten away. Aw, I wish this was in English, I love this series. ^^

I'm gonna watch some anime now. ^^

lowlight: My son's car broke down in Yucaipa, about 20 miles away. The fiance and the babies are all in the car with him... It's hot... Call SUPER-DAD....

Now I want you all to understand one thing, I am a mechanic...BUT, I usually work with mid-size diesel trucks and trailers with electric brakes... My background is diesel school buses with airbrakes and standard transmissions... This is where my experience is... I can do some things on a gas engine, but not much, diagnosis wise...

Highlight...
So ol' dad goes out to the breakdown... crawls under the car, has son try to start car... Whats daddy doing? He has a large wrench and is vigorously tapping on the bottom of the gas tank... Car starts in 5 seconds....

Now here's the freaky part... Daddy just learned this trick 2 weeks ago!!! It was shown to him by another mechanic.... If the fuel pump stops pumping fuel to the engine, especially if you have run out of gas and then refilled it and it won't start... Try tapping on the bottom of the gas tank with a moderately heavy wrench or hammer while someone is turning the key to start the car or truck...... Not too hard, just good firm raps, preferably with the side of the hammer or wrench...

EDT:

NOTE:
This only works on vehicles that have the fuel pump mounted inside the gas tank...

Sigh, I fail at mechanics. I wouldn't know where to find the gas tank.

HL: finding some old letters. I moved a lot when I was younger and you know how when you're a kid and you move, you promise your friends to write and stuff? Well, I was one of those people that did actually exchange letters with all those friends. It was wonderful finding them again ^_^ I mean, I still talk to a lot of the said people by email and msn but there's something special about letters...siiigh, nostalgia ^_^

Airlock? Don't they have a bleed valve for that?

Btw, n00b question... where's the fuel pump really at anyway?

Older vehicles (my kind) had it mounted on the engine and it was usually mechanicaly driven. Or you could supplement it or replace it with an electric fuel pump. Most modern cars and small trucks, at least here in the States, have decided that mounting it inside the fuel tank is a wonderful idea... Now most ppl have to go to a dealer to get it changed over.if it goes bad... You have to start by draining the gas tank, what are you going to do with 15 to 20 gallons of gasoline, put it in buckets??? Not a good idea...

then you have to drop the tank from the car, and carefully replace the fuel pump mechanism... By the way, did I mention that there is still gasoline in the tank??? Well, there is... no smoking!!! We are replacing one on one of our gas trucks at the plant now, or during work hours, anyway... We had converted the truck bed from a pickup to a flatbed with a rack for transporting windows so we decided to just take the bed of and do the pump replacement in situ... Lot of fun thinking about all that nice flammable gasoline...

OOps, sorry, forgot the other question...yes, there is a bleed valve but cars now a day don't vaporlock... The system is pressurized and prevents that. What the relief valve is for is to relieve the pressure in the system before you work on it. Also a possible way to see if the pump is working...

My Anime List

Highlight: Last night was good. Actually too good. It's hard to describe how bad it was because it was so good. We had cigars, group photo's, and everything everyone did made me die a little inside, which wasn't exactly the effect I was after:

- My friends girlfriend, drunk, smacked him in his face, then proceeded to make a joke of herself in public.

- I got a light for my cigar off this girl I quite like and she ended up on the floor in a display of drunken finesse.

- People dumping random people we don't know on us to get some.

Lowlight: Hangover, despite remaining painfully sober throughout.

Bacon sandwiches ahoy.

Wowses. I hope to never make a fool of myself in such a way.

Anyway, Highlight: a pleasant and relaxed day- the sun is out, and I can see windy green things blowing about through my window. I've been spending my time reading and watching Azumanga Daioh and a tad bit of OUran Highschool Host Club... each of which are hilarious and make me laugh very loudly. Anyway, there aren't and lowlights... can't think of why I ever said that I dislike the weekends..

Highlight: YUMMY LUNCH

And i've been absolutely glued to the one manga site reading Ouran High School (Hehe Kiki ). I love this manga so...

I swear you can forget all your long-haired beauties or demonic vampires give me 5 minutes with the twins and i'll be happy.

Just five minutes? Wouldn't five months be oh so much better?

Highlight : Um, dunno, it was just a good day generally. Lots of nice things happened. I finally discovered we have soil under the weeds in the garden so that is all done now. Nice and sunny again. Good food. Cat was mental as usual. Got the water feature resurrected from winter storage and the pump worked first time. Yes! Its a bit like Christmas tree lights but this year it was nice to me. Found a frog in the pond where it sits. I don't know who was more surprised when I lifted the stone and he leaped up. Hm... and thats about it. The final highlight will be my nice warm bed which I shall go enjoy in a few minutes.

Later folks.

Hey... I guess this counts as a highlight.

According to a recent email, it looks like the evening course might have been canceled, giving me a *bit* of free time this term.

Or at least a fighting chance for survival.

Oh! Oh! I know what that means!
It's something like a bad sound- um, such as the clashing of plates or a finger nail on the chalk board. Correct? Anyway, I only remember because my Mom was going back to school and she took this poetry course, expecting it to be one on writing poetry- except it was really a course on taking poems apart and identifying certain parts. Cacophony was on there. She had me learn with her- because apparently that kept the stuff in her head. So I got quizzed all the time.. yay!
