I started playing Final Fantasy XIV last week. Been meaning to for ages. I've never really gotten into an MMO before and it's a bit overwhelming how much there is to learn, but I'm liking it so far.

MMOs aren't really my scene either... I always think they seem kinda intimidating.

Right? I haven't actually interacted with any other players yet, haha. I see there is somewhere in-game you can go like a little training area that teaches you how to play in a party. That's the side of it I'm clueless and scared about. Like I've heard of tank, healer, DPS and all that, I know basically what they mean, but I've never actually... participated. Hopefully I can learn and eventually team up with some people and not be shouted at for being useless :')
I've heard the game's still a great experience if you really want to solo it though! It's a beautiful looking game too, with a ton of lore. Fun writing as well. Time will tell whether I stick with it for the long haul, but as of now, I would recommend it. You get 30 days free trial anyway, so no harm in giving it a go if you fancy.

Seems interesting. I've been looking for a fun immersive game for a while.
I've been playing Myst lately as I never got around to it when I was younger. It's fun, but I admit I have to look at the tutorial online after spending an hour trying to figure out what to do next.

I don't know what to play right now. The last game I actually finished was Yakuza 0 a few months and I played the hell out of that. Considering actually finishing Jak and Dexter on the PlayStation 2.

I am currently playing Outer Wilds, specifically the DLC Echoes of the Eye. It's so good!! So good that it's providing far to much procrastination for my liking.

Having a lot of fun with the recently released Xenoblade Chronicles 3 right now. Great characters, music, aesthetics... Actually, my main issue right now is how overwhelming a lot of the mechanics are. I'm managing fine, but I feel like I'm not utilising it all properly. It's a long game, though, and I have a looong way to go, so I'm sure I'll get the hang of it all eventually. Not sure how I feel about the class-switching system, to be honest. Feels unnecessary. I was quite happy with the old system where if you want to play a particular style - DPS, tank, healer etc, you just switched character. Now any character can be any class. I suppose the freedom to customise is nice, and I appreciate how they tied the mechanics in with the story, but yeah... I think I liked it how it was.

I'm thinking of starting up FFXIV again. I've only played 40 hours, but uh it was kind of boring haha. But I heard it gets a lot better after.
I don't know how to justify the sub fee though.

A new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI had come out. I have high hopes for the game considering I was quite disappointed with FF XV.

Right now, I'm really into God of War Ragnarok. The storytelling in this series continues to be exceptional. Kratos and Atreus' journey through the Norse realms keeps me glued to the screen.

I've been into is Ghost of Tsushima. As a fan of open-world games, I really appreciate the stunning environments and the emphasis on exploration. The combat system is fluid and rewarding, making it a joy to play.
For those moments when I want to test my reflexes and problem-solving, Celeste has been my go-to. It's a tough but fair game with a touching story and an incredible soundtrack.
